Rivnut® or Rivet Nut Fasteners and Self Locking Nuts

Liberty Engineering has been supplying fasteners to the aerospace, military and commercial markets for over 70 years. Liberty Engineering distributes primarily two types of fasteners: Rivet Nuts or Rivnuts® and Self Locking Nuts.

Rivnuts® or Rivet Nuts are internally threaded blind tubular fasteners. They provide a blind installation into sheet metal, plastic, fiberglass and tubular materials. Rivnuts® perform as a rivet to bind two or more materials together and as a nut for attaching a mating part with a screw into its internal threads. Rivet Nut is the generic term for this type of fastener. Rivnut® is a trade name for rivet nuts manufactured by Bollhoff. Liberty Engineering is an authorized distributor for Bollhoff and Sherex.

A Self-Locking Nut is a internally threaded nut with crimped upper threads or a nylon insert that increases the resistance to loosening by vibration. The self-locking nut product offering includes Anchor Nuts, Clip Nuts, Gang Channels, Rivetless Nut Plates, Standoff Brackets and Wrenchable Nuts.
